Dusting of Snow

Though the calendar says May, it doesn’t really feel like it here.  Last night we got about a half inch of rain and the mountains around us got a fresh dusting of snow.  The highs have been in the 50’s and low 60’s.  The folks around here are pretty excited about the “heat wave” that is forecast for the end of the week – it may hit 80 degrees!

  1. The forecast says 87 here thursday and friday… from too cold and wet to too hot and dry in one week! Beautiful scenery. What’s a lowline cow?
(sounds like the start of a bad joke) mark

  2. 87 is too hot for us!

I did a lowline cattle page to answer your question. The are a small angus breed, very popular with the healthy, “grass-fed” type buyer. See the new page for all the information. They might be something that would work well for you guys too?
